Carlton Burgess Visits Francis House!
Carlton presented a check to Francis House in the amount of $500 from the sale of his new single, Love Never Gives Up.
According to Carlton, Love Never Gives Up was concieved in his mind and heart a few years ago and he would occassionally pull it out to work on; but recently committed to finishing after being asked to present it as a part of the National Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS.
The words flowed freely after meditating on the stories, testimonies of both friends, and family who live with and have also passed on because of HIV/AIDS related illnesses.

About the Artist
CARLTON BURGESS is an award winning song writer, composer, musician and singer who’s talents typifies God’s anointing and gifting. For as long as he can remember, music has been a part of his life. From local churches to national concert halls Carlton’s gift note worthy offerings.
An artist at heart, there is a philanthropic dimension to Carlton’s vision and talent; in the early part of the new millennia he heeded God’s bidding to do outreach to the homeless. Weekly, Carlton and his mother along with a limited staff fix bagged lunches for those less fortunate. While some of the funds and food is donated, a great majority comes from the pockets of Burgess and his efforts, such as his critically acclaimed Christmas Melodies, an instrumental Holiday CD created to help fund this outreach effort. With the success of that musical project, this year Carlton produced Solitude, a collection of his favorite hymns; the proceeds from this project benefits the scholarship fund allowing young people to take music lessons or participate in the summer camp.
In October 2008, marked Carlton opened the Burgess Music Academy with two more academies to open in Cape Town and another location to be determined allowing the gift of music to be a global blessing for those wanting to unwrap their gifts as well as enhance their skills. Carlton performed a concert entitled “Songs From God” in Tokyo, Japan December 27, 2009, toured Europe and West Africa and most recently launched his Carlton Burgess and Friends Hymn Lovers Tour that debuted in Springfield, MA October 2009. In that same year, Carlton was selected by the NFL to create and direct the Super Bowl Choir with country superstar Faith Hill and Academy -award winner, Jennifer Hudson.
Currently, Carlton serves as Executive Director of the Burgess Music Group in Tampa, continues to travel the nationally and internationally using his God given talent for God’s people encouraging them to utilize their talent, perfect their praise and seek a God who has done marvelous things and oversees the day to day operations of the Burgess Music Academy with three satellite schools in surrounding Tampa Bay cities and others being planned.
